MAF is today! =) and none of you are here to go together with me :( i just hope the turnout is good later. not a lot of people are coming for dinner though, so hopefully half the class will be present in school! am tasked with recording the wushu performance for my sister, so i can really properly test out my new camera! finally got a new one, after years of that unwieldy olympus camera with tiny memory cards :)school's been going along quite ok so far, though i am a little behind in my reading. at least it's interesting stuff! :) yesteday we had this briefing on "understanding suicide" early in the morning, which brought back so many memories of pw! they started by saying "there is one suicide..." and i completed the sentence "...every single day in singapore". then they went on about signs that someone is seriously contemplating suicide, eg. giving away possessions, talking about ways to kill oneself, etc which were the same things we mentioned in our pw. the most amusing part was under "how to deal with a suicidal person": don't dare the person to do it. seriously, who in the right mind would do that! but apparently it's happened before, when some doctor got so irritated by this patient who wanted to slit her wrists that he told her "do it then" and she really did :/
anyway, here's a picture of the dinner we had at crystal jade in jurong point! some time in july i think :)
