I'm finally blogging!
Hey dears, I'm finally free to blog! hee..so how was everyone's new year and valentine's day? I had a pretty good new year with the singaporeans here at Duke..we had steamboat and lots of food and sang karaoke! it wasn't bad at all! i thought it would be sad being away from home, but being with friends made it much better! though i'll have to admit i also missed being home and visiting relatives (and gettiing hongbaos..) and my valentine's day was uneventful..classes as usual, and no special gifts from anyone..haha..though i did receive a lot of chocolates from my friends! and i got kind of a little surprise/ shock..tell you all next time!went for the freshmen formal last night and had fun dancing! though i thought they could have had a better variety of music..it was hip hop and rnb all the way..only one slow dance at the end..but it was pretty fun! putting the excitement aside though, i'll have to say that the "disco" setting has this special ability to numb your senses and make you forget who you are and become another person altogether..kinda like 醉生梦死..so i think it's not something i will enjoy on a regular basis.. but anyway, here's my fac photo from last night!
