CNY celebrations!
one reason why i love hc is because of the mega celebrations (think campfire, CNY, MAF) it holds year after year. the events bring back many fond memories of the happy moments we spent together and the times when we danced and sang in each other's company..though only yy and i went back today, i had a jolly good time! I never knew that one can actually sit on the third level of block A, look down at the central plaza and simply smile at the scene below. At that moment, I remembered our sun wu kong new year banner that won the best banner award, the bak gua sushi made at yanni's house and the festive spirit that enveloped the entire school. Of course, seeing the CO people also brought scenes of practising and performing with hcco back to my mind..i almost wanted to grab an erhu and join them for performance :)
the centre piece is really beautiful this year! and the backdrop of the "stage" too! must applaud the student councillors for doing such a great job! (though i doubt any of them would actually be reading this..) and the enthusiasm of the j1s in doing their fac dance is unbelievable! they actually know the steps of the complicated and long dances! i suppose the fac system is more or less working, seeing how they cheer and scream for their facs..hope it keeps up though!
and thanks to miss ong for her very delicious kuah lapis and for "entertaining" us..for those of you who didnt come..too bad..we ate your shares!!! mwhaha..anyway, yy didnt get to eat her candy floss which she miraculously spotted from three levels above.. (i can see her pouting now..haha) :P
A new year brings new hope and experiences, but there are some things which i hope will remain forever (well, as long as possible at least..) who knows, maybe 10 years down the road, we might again see sun wu kong smiling at us from a red banner overlooking the central plaza..
